The 2024 IAEA Congress invites researchers, scholars and artists from different domains and countries to present and share empirical research on aesthetics, creativity, and the psychology and neurobiology of the art and aesthetics. Submissions may address questions concerning: aesthetic perception, aesthetic appreciation, aesthetic emotion, aesthetic experience, and aesthetic judgment; the creative process in various media and domains; cultural studies; musicology; art historical perspectives on aesthetics and creativity; architectural and design studies; museology; psychology and neurobiology of art; philosophical, theoretical, and methodological issues in aesthetics research; and others.
Abstract submissions will be used to decide acceptances, as well as to determine their format (Spoken Presentation or Poster-Presentation, for Research Presentations). You may also separately submit Symposium proposals. If not selected, all abstracts of a symposium proposal will automatically be considered for Talk or Poster presentations.
These decisions will be made by the Program Committee based on the number of submissions, availability of venue slots and their quality and appropriateness. We will try to honor, where possible, the preferred format of presentation.
